"I thought I was prepared, having taken a 2 hour prep class! I came over to buy a nursing cover. Mariela went over
tips and techniques, none of it mentioned in the other class. I avoided certain recommendations which Mariela said
were a no-no (offered by a well meaning visiting nurse) and came over to her house for real help. Mariela repositioned
the baby and fixed the problem. 10 months later I called her because I had to go back to work and wanted to continue breastfeeding. She let me try a few pumps, to make sure I got the perfect one. This was awesome, I felt like a kid in a candy store. She has so much selection and knows exactly what will work for you. If you need to buy a pump, this is the only place to buy it from where you actually get help and buy the right pump.

"I had to leave my four month old baby girl to go to a 5 day conference, was really stressed about losing my milk
supply. Mariela rented me a pump(ten days),which was quiet (I had to share a room and pump on the plane), used batteries as back-up and not too heavy. She showed me how to use it and the technique to follow.
There is no way I would have maintained my milk supply with my small pump, which was great for odd night out and
that took about 45 min.each time I used it..... . I am so grateful to have met her, and have recommended to all my
